Canon and Datacom NZ Join Forces For Benefit of Customers

In a move which goes against the recent trend of sending call centre services to other parts of the world, Canon New Zealand and Australia have joined forces with kiwi-owned company, Datacom, to bring the Canon companies’ contact centres into Canon New Zealand’s headquarters on Auckland’s North Shore. The contact centre was officially opened by New Zealand Prime Minister, John Key on the 22nd July.

Datacom 2010 End of Year Results

While the economies in both New Zealand and Australia have been slow in recovering from the impact of the global financial crisis, for the year to 31st March 2010 Datacom Group has posted very solid growth figures for both revenue and profit.

Datacom purchases new Perth based data Centre
This month IT and Professional Services firm, Datacom, completed the purchase of a new Perth based data centre in Belmont, WA. 

On the back of a year of noteworthy growth for Datacom this acquisition, worth in excess of $10million AUD, represents significant investment for the organisation and follows a $40million AUD investment made last year building a new state of the art data centre in Auckland.
